Supporting Operational Capacity of Non-Profits Serving Watertown

The Watertown Community Foundation offers grants to non-profit institutions central to the Watertown community. We provide funds to support the organizational mission, staffing and operating costs.

Eligibility Criteria

Grants under this program do not restrict the use of funds or impose any requirements.

Organizations must meet the following criteria to be eligible for an Institutional Support grant:

  • Have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status (or quasi-public status dependent on substantial external funding),

  • Provide vital services to the residents of Watertown,

  • Provide an educational function, broadly defined, for the community,

  • Demonstrate fiscal need.

Public and private schools as well as government entities are excluded from this program.

Eligible organizations may apply for grants up to $7,500.

Beginning of April : Request for Proposals Posted
End of April: Applications Due
End of May: Applicants Notified

  • Applicants will receive an email confirmation after your proposal is received.
