Watertown Helps Out: Communications Toolkit
It’s time for the Watertown Community Foundation’s annual volunteer event—Watertown Helps Out (WHO)! Join us to help spread awareness for this month-long community service initiative in May. With your support, we can get our entire community volunteering for projects that help make Watertown a better place to live and work.
What are we asking you to do?
We need your help to provide as much visibility as possible to encourage those who live and work in Watertown to sign up and volunteer at various projects. To engage your networks and make sharing details as easy as possible, you can use this communications toolkit with:
Just copy, paste, and send!
When should information be distributed?
The sooner the better! The first project is May 2. To make sure projects have the volunteers they need, we’d like promotion to begin now and continue through May. This will help keep the month-long event top of mind for all your community stakeholders.
You can find a volunteer opportunities sign up sheet here (additional projects will continue to be added).
Thank you for your partnership and commitment to our Watertown community.
